Young Musicians Platform                                                                   

Introduction

Every year candidates of 18 years or under audition for the opportunity to perform in a concert within the Two Moors Festival. In addition the four selected winners are awarded £250.

Entries are taken from talented classical musicians living or at school in Cornwall, Devon, Somerset, Dorset, Gloucestershire, Bristol and Wiltshire.

Any instrument is acceptable including the voice.

The four winners of the 2011 Young Musicians Platform Competition are outstanding young musicians. The standard of the competition reached new heights with each performance astounding the panel of judges and invited audience present.

Entries to be submitted by 31st January 2012

First round auditions - March 10th & 11th 2012

Second round auditions - May 5th 2012
