Chopin Sonata No. 3 in B minor Op.58

Tom Poster piano

No stranger to the Two Moors Festival, winner of the 2007 Scottish International Piano Competition, Tom Poster returns to give a talk and performance of Chopin’s B minor sonata. This is arguably the greatest piano sonataof the Romantic period. Written in 1844, six years after his relationship with George Sand began, it has become one of the best known works in the piano repertoire. Chopin dedicated the work to Countess Emile de Perthuis.

This concert will last about an hour.
