This Military Band needs no introduction and is known
world-over for appearances at the Edinburgh Military Tattoo,
accompanying the Queen on her tour of Istanbul and for its many
recordings. The engagements undertaken are extremely varied
and it’s not unusual for them to be playing for a ceremonial
occasion, forming pop group and dance band ensembles and
performing full symphony orchestra repertoire all in the same
week.
Please note that there will be seating as well as space for
promenaders; there will also be heating although the addition
of a rug might be sensible. Refreshments will be provided in
