Tony Beard, a Westcountry man was born and bred in Widecombe-in-the-Moor. With a true Devonshire voice, and a lover of the dialect, he is an ambassador for all that is Westcountry based. He regularly appears on BBC Radio Devon and presents a weekly ‘My Dartmoor Diary’ in which he talks about the area and what makes it so special.
