    Aronowitz Ensemble

The Aronowitz Ensemble needs little introduction. Not only are the artists well known to Festival goers, but as a group, they are some of BBC Radio 3’s most favoured artists in the New Generation Scheme. They have appeared at the Proms, Wigmore Hall and many festivals in Britain in addition to completing a residency at Aldeburgh.

Their performance in this festival features the World Premiere of a work written by Guardian/BBC Young Composer of the Year
2006, Mark Simpson. Mark is currently reading Music at Oxford and his work, Barkham Fantasy, for piano, was premiered at the
Southbank in May.

This concert is sponsored by Exeter & District Classical Music Trust.
